James Early

Randall Ramsey has advised of the passing of classmate Jim Early just before Thanksgiving.

James H. Early was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Memphis, Tenn. He passed away Nov. 14, at the age of 72, from a heart attack.

Early passed away doing what he loved most, hunting in Colorado.

He is survived by his cherished wife, LaDene; his four daughters, Brenda Bolen, Jamie Slaughter, Amie Horan and Jodie Haayer; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his younger brothers, Robert Early and Scott Early.

He was laid to rest Nov. 24, at the Mariposa Cemetery.

Jerry wishes to express his deepest condolences to Jim's family. Jim is remembered with fond memories going back to grade school.

  I remember  Jim very well. The two of us were in Mr. Harper's history class and Jim was always finding ways to exasperate Harper. I never met a person who was more upbeat than Jim. My sympathys go out to his family.
